We are delighted to announce the return of the InterLaw Diversity Forum’s flagship early-careers event: the Student Lab Summit!

 

On Friday 16 January 2026, we’ll be welcoming high-potential aspiring lawyers for a full day of inspiring panel discussions, practical skills workshops, and meaningful connection with leading law firms.

 

The Student Lab Summit offers real-world insight into life in the legal profession, along with the tools to help you not only enter the sector but thrive within it.

 

Hosted at Kennedy’s London office and generously supported by our member firms, the programme will run throughout the day.

Attendees will hear directly from recruiters, trainees, mid-level associates, and senior leaders through a series of interactive sessions, including:

  Insights from Recruiters: Rapid-fire talks from graduate recruitment professionals, covering firm research, crafting standout applications, assessment days, and interview success.

   

• Trainee Inside Track Panel
  Current trainees and newly qualified lawyers share candid reflections on workload, support, progression, and their journey into practice.

   

• Keynote speech
  Featuring a special guest speaker - to be announced soon!

   

• Leadership for Change
  Partners and senior leaders discuss inclusive leadership, driving positive change, and how early-career lawyers can create impact from within.

• The Student Lab Summit is open to current undergraduates, graduates, and career changers.

• We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.​
