  • The InterLaw Diversity Forum holds monthly panel- discussion meetings for our LGBTQ+ Network and our Race & Ethnicity Network. We hold bi-monthly meetings for our ENABLE (dis)Ability Network and Women’s Network.

  • The Apollo Leadership Institute is a global hub for General Counsel and senior in-house lawyers from all sectors, and focuses on inclusive leadership and culture, diversity and inclusion, and the creation of meritocratic workplaces.

  • The UK Model Diversity Survey (“UK MDS”) is a supplier diversity questionnaire which corporate and financial institutions use to monitor their panel firms/legal service suppliers on diversity, inclusion, and culture. The purpose of the survey is to serve as the standard for law firms’ reporting of their diversity metrics. 

  • We provide training and support to our members and other organisations (including law firms, corporates, and financial institutions) on a wide range of topics from inclusive leadership to launching or re-charging employee resource groups.

  • IDFconnect, our mentoring programme, has been specifically designed to help diverse lawyers with their career progression, professional development, and networking skills.

  • InterLaw Diversity Forum Student Lab Summit is a one-day event for to support high-potential, diverse students from all UK universities and backgrounds on their career journey by connecting them with their peers, law firms, barristers' chambers, and corporate institutions through panel events, interactive skills-based workshops, and a law fair.    

  • The Student Lab Summer Internship is a one-week event to support high-potential, diverse students, recent graduates, paralegals and trainees from all UK universities and backgrounds on their career journey by connecting them with their peers, law firms, barristers’ chambers, and corporate institutions through lectures, panel events, and interactive skills-based workshops. 

  • Our 2021 research report, Career Progression in the Legal Sector, will be followed by publications of Fact Sheets in 2022 and 2023 delving deeper into Gender, Race & Ethnicity, LGBT+, Social Mobility, & Disability. We will be collecting new data in 2023 and publishing an updated research report.

 

  • The Purple Reign Project is a multi-media initiative of the InterLaw Diversity Forum which uses photography, film, biographies, and podcasts to capture the images, ideas, and stories of inspiring LGBT+ and ally role models drawn from the fields of law, business, activism, the arts, government and sports.

  • Our charitable fundraisers, the Winter Carnival and the Summer Carnival, have in their 12 years raised over £600,000 for the Albert Kennedy Trust, Switchboard LGBT+ Helpline, and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
